By Thursday, January 24, you will create your journal page on the wiki and place a link on this page.  If you already have a weblog established and dedicated to music theory and aural perception practice, you may continue to use it.  Just link it on the wiki page, 138Journals.

By Thursday, December 6, you should turn in a transcription of the rhythmic themes for each Potter character in this video:

You're only responsible for the portion up to (and NOT including) the 1:11 mark where Harry & Snape "face off".  Provide me with a transcript containing seperate lines for each of the characters.  I'd say the meter is 4-4.  Make sure that you are accurate with the rhythmic entrance since the characters do not begin always on beat 1.  This will count as an assessment (test) grade.  You must complete this assignment on your own.

By Thursday, September 27, everyone should have created an AP journal and have at least (like at the VERY least) FOUR "quality" entries.  I won't set a bare minimum for weekly AP practice, but if you're not practicing, you're not improving.  Be sure to visit my weblog and look for the entry dealing with AP practice and journaling.  Paper journals will be reviewed during classtime; you must bring them to every class session in case I decide to check them.
