I reviewed Seth's resource on rhythmic dictations and I thought it was really helpful. This source is found on musictheory.com. You can choose the level of difficulty of Rhythms you want to dictate and then it playsa rythm for you. After you have heard the rhythm you click on your choice of notevalues to fill in the blanks on the staff above the note choices. It corrects you and keeps track of how many were done correctly. This exercise also gives you hints to help you out if you are really having trouble with it. If you are having diffulcutly at all with rhythmic dictation I would really reccomend this site. The best way for me at least is to just jump in and practice with this type of stuff. I think this practice site fits in for this class really well, especially A.P. and I think it will help give confidence to you in future rhythmic exercises to come.
